The series began in August 1985 with a foreign story.
Rakib Hasan wrote this famous series from the very beginning.
Rakib Hasan wrote continuously till 2003.
Later, Shamsuddin Nawab continued to write it.The Three Detectives is not a completely original story.
Written in the shadow of various intelligence stories from Europe and America.
The early books in particular are based on Robert Arthurs English series Three Investigators.
Some books are based on Enid Blytons Famous Five.According to a survey conducted by the daily Prothom Alo, the three most popular book of stories read by teenagers in Bangladesh are Three Detectives.
